As Design Manager for the multi-disciplinary shaver design team, Scott was responsible for many projects as well as being charged with the design of two flagship ranges, the Sensotec and Coolskin. Some of the products designed by Scott and the team can be seen above.
The Coolskin shown was the first product to be launched following a major overhaul to the Philips Design innovation and design process.
A product road mapping tool, created by myself and the team, is still used by many teams today and is known as the "Shaman Process". The results derived from this process led to an overhaul of all Philips shaver products from 2001 to date. It enabled the Coolskin range of products shown to be more directly competitive with the wet shaver market due to a major reduction in size and change in form factor.
